How to Uninstall the Managed Switch Port Mapping Tool using Control Panel

  1. Start Control Panel (use the start menu on Windows 10, 7 or use the right side 'charms' on Windows 8.x when viewing the desktop)
  2. If viewing by Category, locate and click on Programs - Uninstall a program. If viewing by Large or Small Icons, click on Programs and Features.
  3. Locate Managed Switch Port Mapping Tool v2.x in the list, right click on it and select Uninstall from the popup menu or click on Uninstall at the top of the list.
  4. Follow the directions in the uninstaller.

  • Default location of Program Files, 64 bit operating systems: C:\Program Files (x86)\nwps\SwitchPortMapper
  • Default location of Program Files, 32 bit operating systems: C:\Program Files\nwps\SwitchPortMapper
  • Read/Write Databases and temporary files: C:\Users\%yourLoginName%\AppData\Roaming\NWPS\ManagedSwitchPortMapper
  • Read Only Databases and images: C:\Users\All Users\NWPS\ManagedSwitchPortMapper
The Managed Switch Port Mapping Tool does not install any drivers or browser add-ons.
